This is a place where I will post various writing projects off and on. I just kind of wanted a place that works better for certain things than Bluesky or other social medias do.
I'm using the most stripped-back formatting possible because I prefer this style.

Nonland Mana Generation Used to Be Really Weird
One of these days I will write fewer card game things, proportionally.
Happy Trans Day of Visibility! I struggled a little to determine if "Happy [foo]" was truly the right way to start off a post like this, but no, it is. Trans Day of Visibility should be a celebration. On this day, as any other, it is essential to celebrate the lives of trans folks in the world and in your communities - especially because it is sometimes difficult to know if they will be there tomorrow, something that's becoming even more of a problem as the walls close in on us. If you have a large community and you notice it has few or no trans folks, ask why that is and take steps to change it. To quote a friend, "Transgender people are the backbone of safe and vibrant online communities" - and while it's stressful always being the canary in the coal mine, he's absolutely right. Being trans is terrifying right now. I'm scared every day of my life. I'm afraid for all of my friends. I feel like I have to constantly update half or more of the country on a "risk map" every day of my life, in case I'm ever able to reach a place where I might be in danger of having a future at all - places I cannot go, or even just places I cannot stay. Things are grim right now. But we are all stronger than any of them. Light defeats darkness. That's what it does. We will all get out of this. We will see the other side, and all of us give each other the strength to push forward.
I apologize for being so bad at words. I've never been good at expressing my emotions. Except anger, of course.
Anyway, want to know why I named myself "Delia"? I kept it as a pretty good joke for some time that it was after Delia Derbyshire, but the answer is a bit more embarrassing. On the other hand, "Delia" also originates from the name of the Greek island of Delos, where Artemis was born. Maybe you should pretend that's why I did it. Or the Delia Derbyshire thing again.
In any case, I suppose I should write an actual website update. I went back and updated some HTML to get rid of some of the out-of-date residual garbage that was probably a holdover from when I did journal RP and I didn't want to triple my time writing a tag on a website that old. I'm sticking as heavily to retro, Web 1.0 stylings as much as possible, but you've gotta draw a line somewhere. Plus, replacing <big> tags with <h2> in one place was way more elegant than throwing everything into extra paragraph tags. I usually don't know how to do anything in an elegant manner and even outright refuse sometimes (look at the amount of "<br />" that are probably not necessary in this post when I could just use more paragraphs if you want to barf a little), so this probably comes as a surprise.
How Well Does WotC's New Nostalgia Secret Lair Imitate the Old Days?
That Birthing Pod annoyed me. The worst crime one could possibly commit - being worded wrong.
Another Magic: The Gathering Artist Does a Plagiarism
To be frank, I'm writing entirely too much about card games lately.
A Look Back at Magi-Nation Duel's Region Preview Cards
I keep writing about this old card game that may or may not be dead.
Was This Magi-Nation Duel Deck Killed by the Turn Structure?
I actually had most of this written a couple days ago. I need to finish taking inventory of my collection.
Super ZSNES Exists, For Some Reason!
Of all the bizarre things to make a comeback, this is pretty high on the list.
Finally got off my ass and made the "Other" page have a real index instead of just a "coming soon" page. Of course, right now, there's not much there, but, you know, housekeeping.
Also I've decided that I will be bumping the TDoV update up to second in the list every update this year. It's an important message and you should see at least some of it in your periphery at the bottom of this page when you're reading my bullshit. If you don't think trans lives are important to celebrate, well, I think your life isn't important to continue and you should just go lie down under the nearest train.
It's about 2 AM here. I just finished writing something, so I hope you want to read it. Probably don't read it at 2 AM.
Jethro Tull Previewed Their New Under Wraps Remaster; I'm Pretty Excited!
The minorest of minor updates! So, I don't want to "confirm" anything too early, but I may have secured myself a mini-PC. I want to try using that as a web server, possibly to host this site on my own end. I love Neocities, but I just kinda want to try hosting stuff on my own end if possible. I suppose I have always had a bit of the DIY spirit on some levels. Probably not nearly complete enough of one, but so it goes, right?
I've also gotten around to adding a couple of links to threads I'm doing on Bluesky on, where else, my links page. I also like having all this stuff archived, even if it's ultimately a little meaningless.
Probably gauche to put updates about my social media on a regular ol' website, though... Ah well, nobody's reading this anyway, it's fine.
Is Magic: The Gathering Just Yu-Gi-Oh! Now?
Meant to get this one out sooner but I got caught up in doing some other stuff and having a messed-up sleeping pattern. One of the things here is that, if you sleep the same amount each day but spread out over multiple times of sleeping and waking up, you technically spend more time not doing "real" stuff in a day because of how much time you spend going to sleep and waking up. Not really a lot but it does kind of mess me up. Embarrassing to admit, I guess, but...
Oh, and for people who like when I do videos, I have a new one of those out, too.
Finally, some new complaints in the new year! I know you've all been waiting for it.
People are Mad About Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen on Switch, Because Of Course They Are
Not gonna lie, I'm shocked I had this much to say on this one!
Okay. I did what I said I would yesterday, but I've got a little more to add:
For a start, I'm removing the "Music" section from the site, to be folded into the "other" section if I ever make any actual music. Articles related to music will be put in with the other wordy stuff, even a list I've been working on putting together, which was going to consist of one song released each month from 1970 to 2025 - you know, to give people things to listen to, including some things they hopefully haven't heard before!
But also, I've started a page where I'm posting my Pokemon sprite edits. I need to make the proper landing for that "other" section. Soon.
Hello! I admit I haven't really written anything here in a minute. Most of my writing has been tied up in scripting videos - of which I have a new one out as of just yesterday! Get in on the ground floor before something or other, I dunno. I am not expecting to ever be popular for any reason, y'know.
At risk of posting too much about my social media on my front page here, there are two places you can go if you want to see more words from me to tide yourself over until I finish a real piece of work for this website:
Oh! Also, I'm sure this doesn't matter a ton, but just because I guess this is as good a place as any to put such a piece of information, next I update, I'll be putting all of last year's updates into another page as an archive. Just to keep this page clean, but there's also somethin' that bugs me about not having this have a scrollbar on my 1080p monitor; it makes it feel short to me, I guess.
